Harry JEFFREY, for many years a resident of Crawfordsville died suddenly Thursday night at Culver Hospital where he had been taken following an accident at the home of his brother, Sherman Jeffrey. Death occurred about 10 o'clock and was caused by pulmonary embolism according to the report of Dr. A. L. Loop, co. coroner. Mr. Jeffrey fell at the home of his brother late Thurs afternoon and suffered a fracture of the left leg. He was taken to the hospital a few hours after the mishap and died from a blood clot that developed after the fracture. Mr. Jeffrey was 48 and the s/o Wm & * Mary Baldwin Jeffrey. he was born in Indiana. those surviving are two daughters: Mary Jeffrey and Louise Rector, two sons, Edward of Terre Haute & Chauncey of this city; 3 brothers, French of Williamsport; Howard of Muncie and Sherman of this city; 4 sisters, Alice Howard of Martinsville, Bertha Zook of Muncie; Elsie Grizzle of Veedersburg and Etta Frier of Lafayette and one grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the home, 108 N. Street Sunday afternoon at 2 with Rev. EA Arthur of the Memorial Presbyterian Church in charge. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
